Smith Titanium brake pad set, sold as a two-piece set and designed specifically to pair with the Smith Titanium brake rotor. Pad compound and rotor material have to match – this pad on a steel rotor will not work properly, and will damage both.
Titanium rotors save meaningful rotating weight, which is weight the engine does not have to accelerate every corner. Pads matched to them are part of that system rather than a generic replacement.
