This Driven Throttle Cable Retainer mounts directly to your bell crank and captures the throttle cable where it enters the pedal assembly. It is a small piece that solves a real problem: cable slack, binding, and the vague, spongy pedal feel that comes from a cable that is not held square to its travel.
The retainer is machined so the cable housing seats cleanly and the inner cable is free to rotate through its arc without side load. The result is a throttle that breaks away crisply off the bottom and returns every single time. On a 600 micro sprint where you are feathering the throttle through the middle of a slick corner, that consistency is the difference between driving the car and reacting to it.
It is a direct fit with the Driven throttle pedal bell crank and adapts to most standard micro sprint and Jr. Sprint pedal setups.
