Description
Steering wheel spacers let you set the wheel at the right distance from the driver. Available from 1/2″ to 2″ in 1/2″ increments, so you can dial in reach precisely rather than living with whatever the steering shaft length happens to give you.
Driver position is performance. A wheel that is too far away means the driver is reaching and loses leverage and precision on corner entry. Too close and they cannot get full lock without hitting their arms on the wheel. Getting this right also matters for safety – a driver needs to be able to get their arms clear and get out of the car quickly.
These work on 600 micro sprints and Jr. Sprints alike, and they are especially useful in Jr. Sprint where drivers grow between seasons and the same car has to fit a different size kid every year. Order the increment you need, or grab a couple and set it once you have the driver in the seat.
