FK Bearings CF4 1/4″ female rod end, used on Micro Sprint shifter cables and pedal linkage assemblies. This is the joint that connects your foot and your hand to the car, so slop here shows up as vagueness exactly where you least want it.
Rod ends are consumable. Dirt gets into the ball, the joint wears loose, and suddenly your shifter has an inch of dead travel before anything happens. Replacing a worn CF4 costs a few dollars; chasing a missed shift down the back straight costs a lot more.
Fits 600 Micro Sprint and Jr. Sprint (JRX) pedal and shifter setups. Sold individually. Note that Driven shifter cables do not include heims — order these separately when you replace a cable.
