Description
This billet aluminum mounting plate is what your fiberglass or carbon fiber injection cover bolts to. It gives the cover a rigid, flat, vibration-resistant mounting surface instead of hanging it off the airbox and hoping the fasteners hold through a hundred laps of chatter.
The plate is drilled to adapt to a wide range of airboxes and throttle body arrangements, which matters because 600 micro sprint engine packages are rarely identical from car to car. Whether you are running a Yamaha R6 with an injection setup or an older carbureted combination, there is a hole pattern here that will work with minimal fabrication.
Cracked and rattling covers are usually a mounting problem, not a cover problem. Adding a proper plate stops the flex at the source and makes the cover come on and off in seconds during a hot-lap teardown. Made by Driven in Fresno, California, and available with our injection and carb covers as a package.
