King Racing Products billet aluminum restrictor plate for the 99-05 Yamaha R6, the workhorse engine of 600 micro sprint racing. Restrictor plates are how sanctioning bodies equalize the field, and running the correct one is not optional at a tech line.
Billet aluminum means it holds its dimensions and does not distort under heat cycling the way a cheaper plate can. That matters because tech officials measure these, and a plate that has crept out of spec fails inspection whether or not you knew about it.
Check your sanctioning body’s current rule before ordering – restrictor requirements vary between series and change between seasons, and a plate that was legal last year may not be this year.
