Replacement bearing for JRX Jr. Sprint birdcages. The birdcage bearing lets the cage rotate on the axle while carrying suspension load, which makes it a wear part in a dirty, wet environment.
A dry or worn birdcage bearing introduces drag and play into the rear suspension, and neither announces itself clearly – the car just stops responding to adjustment the way it used to. Use the grease zerk, and replace bearings on a schedule.
