Hoosier 16.8.5-8 in RD20 compound, the right rear tire for Jr. Sprint cars. The right rear does the most work on a dirt oval – it carries load through the corner and puts the power down off it.
RD20 is a harder compound suited to tackier tracks and longer runs. On a Jr. Sprint, tire wear is usually slower than in a 600, but stagger and pressure still decide how the car turns.
