The OG style D1 right side arm guard, fitting 2012 through current model years. Arm guards keep the driver’s arms inside the car and away from the right rear tire, which is not a comfort feature – it is a serious safety item on any 600 micro sprint.
This is the original D1 pattern, so it mounts to factory locations on a D1 chassis. It will often fit other chassis manufacturers with some trimming, which makes it a practical option if your original is bent and the source is gone.
Arm guards get bent in contact and should be inspected regularly, not just replaced when they are obviously destroyed – a guard that no longer sits in the right position is not doing its job. If yours is close to done, replace it before the season rather than after an incident.
