Description
Replacement brake pad set for the Wilwood caliper (WIL 120-5498) used on the Driven JRX Jr. Sprint rear axle assembly. This is the correct pad for that caliper – not a close-enough substitute that hangs up in the bracket or wears at an angle.
Brake pads are a consumable, and on a Jr. Sprint they are also a safety item. Worn pads give you a long pedal and inconsistent stopping, which is exactly what you do not want with a young driver still learning to place the car. Checking pad thickness belongs in your routine between race weekends.
Sold as a set. If you are running a D1 JRX Jr. Sprint rear axle assembly, this is your direct replacement. Keep a spare set in the trailer – pads are cheap, and a Jr. Sprint that cannot stop is a night that ends early.
